I am back home now from holidays in Alberta, but it has been a busy couple of days since getting home.
Here is a picture from Eastern Alberta at the entrance gate to a farm. We stopped to visit the horses behind the fence and I took this picture of the farm gate and sky just before getting back into the car and continuing on our way.

Very tranquil, but my hubby saw something sinister in the gate... he said he inexplicably pictured runaway slaves being lynched and hanging off it :-(
