Project 52 - Drink Up!



DRINK UP!

I really am a coffee girl, but for those times I do enjoy a cup of Tea, there are a few things you need that make the pleasure of having a nice cup of Tea a real experience.

My hubby got me a beautiful Tea Tray with matching cup, creamer and sugar container. I love my little sugar tongs! The little hands grab a cube of sugar expertly!

Tea is much better with flowers to enjoy as well. Kind of brings a bit of spring in!

For me Tea is a drink that is meant to be sipped, in a relaxed and peaceful mood. It is meditative, and calming after a stressful day.

You know a girl loves to get a bouquet of flowers! The other day the phone rang, the caller asking if anyone would be home to receive a delivery of flowers.

Of course we would, but who were these from??

It wasn't my birthday.

It wasn't my Anniversary!

Maybe just because! That is a nice reason to get flowers delivered!

Turns out the flowers were from my work, for my 24th Anniversary of working in the Company. Only thing was, my anniversary of that is actually in May. Someone slipped up, and I got a beautiful bouquet of flowers as a result!!

Today's Flowers

There are little signs of Spring starting to pop up now, even though at times the temps are very low and cold. I saw Blossoms on a tree the other day, so I am feeling hopeful Spring is around the corner.

I mss the roses. So here are a couple of Rose photos for all who miss Spring like I do!

Here are a couple of long lasting late summer flowers I found last month in the gardens around our local Library here in town.

These minature Rose bushes are planted against the library building all along the walkway into the building. Maybe the heat radiating from the building make the roses bloom a bit longer than usual.

I think these are Coneflowers, but I am not sure. If someone knows what the really are please let me know!

Today's Flowers

A bit of a shot of a bouquet of 24 long stem roses I recieved for my birthday. Its straight out of the camera shot. I have yet to go onto Photoshop and play with them. A couple of these are going to sacrifice themselves and go outside for some snow shots in a little while!!

Today's Flowers

For Today's Flowers I have a couple of pictures of the last of the miniature roses. I think these have survived partly due to being planted up against the house, so maybe a bit more warm than out further in the elements. It rains like crazy here so they aren't being drowned by being somewhat protected under the eves. A little bit tattered around the edges, a bit droopy, but then again aren't we all on some days!!!

Creamy pale roses are my flower for today!! They look soft as satin in these pictures. Roses are one of my favorite flowers next to lilies.
