Skywatch Friday

These pictures were taken last weekend on our first fishing expedition of the year!! These were taken in Kilby, about an hour's drive from home. My hubby was very excited to fish. Its a big form of relaxation for him and I get to take pictures. And read a good book. That is my idea of good fishing!

Just a shot of the moon in the sky. If you enlarge it you can see it better.

I love the diamond glints on the water as the sun sets.

Skywatch Friday

These two pictures were taken over the lake at Harrison Hotsprings here in B.C. Its a little tourist destination famous for its hotsprings and the big spa hotel in the center of town. If you look close you can see the moon in the picture. That is what I was after, so the pictures kind of look the same.

Skywatch Friday.

Here is my Skywatch pictures for this week. I have been outside every evening this week taking pictures of the moon. It has been clear skies so easy to see the moon, but my problem is taking a picture that is in focus. Always a hard thing for me for some reason. I played with the color a bit in the top one, trying to make it look like a big old piece of cheese in the sky!!!
You can see the craters and mountains of the moon in this one.
I will be practising this again!!
