The Weekend in Black and White

I recently featured pictures from a Tribute Garden I visited a couple of weeks ago. Here are some of the Statues from the garden.

I thought the one above here was a bit creepy! I think it is just the patina from the paint peeling over time that made it a bit creepy!

This statue was the last statue to be placed in the garden. It still has the red bow tied to the arm from Christmas.

Watery Wednesday

Dressing leaves in Waterdrops is like dressing in a beautiful gown and going out on the town!
It's the bling that brings the whole outfit together!
Not much fun to go out in the pouring rain, but it pays after the rain stops!
You can get the best drops!

Raindrops are like little microcosms each on thier own. I love them all!

Ruby Tuesday

Take a nice warm evening in the park, a bandstand and a lively band.
The band is called Los Amigos, a mexican band.

The lively beat of the band brings out the kids, who love to dance!!!

These three kids I am sure have taken lessons before. They really had rhythum.

And if you are lucky enough you will get some airtime of your own!!

The sign of a good band is how many get out there and dance!

Mellow Yellow Macro Monday!!

When you look at Dandilion Puffs up close and personal, they are actually quite fascinating!

I still don't like to see them in my grass but they are fascinating to take photos of.

Critters and Flowers

Rhododendroms on thier last few days, its kind of sad when we wait all year to see certain flowers, and they are at the end of their seasons. We wait again until next year.
Butterflies are out though, a beautiful and fleeting moment caught.

Pink Fuchias for you as well!!
Go and check out the above websites for more examples of flowers and critters!!!

Skywatch Friday

It's amazing how much difference a day can make to a sky scene.
Cloudy, grey rainy sky and then not 24 hours later a blue sunny sky.
Both photos taken from the same spot!
