Linking with Skywatch Friday

Pixel Dust Photo Art

You can see the world reflected in a raindrop.
You can see me reflected in a silver ball.

It was a wet Saturday last weekend and we were out looking for Eagles. Never found an eagle perched in a tree but did see many eagles in the sky.
You can't see them here but I'll be back in another post to show you some!

Fall Tree

Photo Art Friday
The last of the leaves cling stubbornly to the tree. Fall is full upon us now and the limbs seem stark now against the backdrop of the moody skies.
Enjoy your upcoming weekend!!

Fall a bit Early

Photo Art Friday
I took my camera into work one sunny day for my fellow co-workers to see. I had talked enough there about this obsession of mine and they had come here to check out my photos.
I let one of my co-workers named Alex try his hand at taking a photo.
This is one of his photos that he took, I just tweaked it a bit in photoshop and added a bit of texture as well. I promised I would put it on the blog for him, so here it is!
I hope he comes in and sees his picture!!

Time moves on.

Skywatch Friday
One of our favorite rainy day places to go and spend a day at is Granny and Grampa's Antique Barn. Recently one of their huge barns burned almost to the ground so we went out on a sunny day to see how bad the damage was. You can see some of the charred remains in the background of the photo, looking through the spokes of the old wheel hanging on the side of another one of thier barns.
Photos preserve memory of things that have come before. Eventually the remains of this barn will be bulldozed down and probably a new Barn built. This wheel no longer does its day labour but it is preserved for me to see.

Dew Drops by Dew Drops on Dew Drops!

Photo Art Friday
I was out watering flowers just as the sun was setting. Poor things have been cooking in the hot sun all day and wanted a drink. I liked the way the water clung to the petals so went in and grabbed my camera to take some photos.
These are hand held in low light so could be much better. I added a texture or two just for the heck of it!
These are tiny fronds on a Fennel plant. I have to try it again with my tripod!
I will be trying this again. Goodness knows, I have to keep the plants alive, Spray some inspiration on those flowers!

Grass is Greener on the Other Side

Photo Art Friday
I used Painterly textures on these two photos and also played around with poster edges and finding edges filters. I also tryed out the watercolours filter. I then found a tutorial on adding borders and played around with that as well.

This horse was much too intent on eating than paying any attention to me. I wanted a good head shot but dinner took priority!
And even though a barbed wire fence was seperating the horse from the good grass, the horse managed to find a way.
I guess the grass is greener on the other side!

Pixel Dust Photo Art

Pixel Dust Photo Art

This flower photo was taken at Minter Gardens and then texture added after. I cannot get to my other computer to tell you the name of the texture right now, I think it was something like sign of spring.  Love pixel dust textures!!
This is my first entry here to at Pixel Dust Photo Art!
To all the Mom's out there, I wish you all a very happy Mother's Day!! Enjoy your day!
