Dew Drops by Dew Drops on Dew Drops!

Photo Art Friday
I was out watering flowers just as the sun was setting. Poor things have been cooking in the hot sun all day and wanted a drink. I liked the way the water clung to the petals so went in and grabbed my camera to take some photos.
These are hand held in low light so could be much better. I added a texture or two just for the heck of it!
These are tiny fronds on a Fennel plant. I have to try it again with my tripod!
I will be trying this again. Goodness knows, I have to keep the plants alive, Spray some inspiration on those flowers!

Watery Wednesday

Dressing leaves in Waterdrops is like dressing in a beautiful gown and going out on the town!
It's the bling that brings the whole outfit together!
Not much fun to go out in the pouring rain, but it pays after the rain stops!
You can get the best drops!

Raindrops are like little microcosms each on thier own. I love them all!

Watery Wednesday

Hello and welcome to Watery Wednesday. We have had all forms of precipitation falling in the past few days, but it is the rain I am  looking forward to. The snow has mostly melted, the hail didn't break my skylight, although it sure sounded like it would. The freezing rain made the roads extra slick and could not see the Black Ice until the car started to slide a bit. Now the weather is warming up overnight and the rain is coming tomorrow. I can handle the rain!

These whimsical statues are located outside of the Vancouver Conservatory. In the rain!

The statues depict three tourists posing against the backdrop of Vancouver.

The male tourist with the bushy mustache!

The third of the tourists. It was a rainy, gloomy day but still a good day for a photograph!

The photographer getting set up to take the shot.

He sets up his photo, his settings are right, and he snaps his photo.
Hey wait, how did I get in there??

Watery Wednesday

My computer has been down for a few days, thus I have not been able to get at any of my photos until tonight. So these photos are a bit late, but better late than never!
You know I have a thing for waterdrops, I look for them everywhere.

And what is better than lots of raindrops?? Bokeh and raindrops!

Watery Wednesday

I am sure everyone knows I have an affinity for Waterdrops. They fascinate me to see them and I am always on the lookout for them. I want to capture the perfect drop!!
I haven't done it yet, but I keep looking and keep trying.

Frozen in time, the drop remains suspended for a bit longer. It looks like a diamond pendant, nature's pendant!

Watery Wednesday

We had about a foot of snow over the past night, and now the temperatures are starting to rise again and the snow precipitation is turning to freezing rain. Things are starting to drip here.
I know I have taken better photos of waterdrops, but coffee breaks are only so long and the roof is far away!

I need to play with shutter speed to catch the drop in flight.

And there it goes.

Watery Wednesday

I have a couple more photos of Waterdrops taken the same time as my new Header.
This was taken the afternoon of a rain shower and were on a plant that resembled a plant somewhat like a pampus grass. It was saturated with water droplets.

Watery Wednesday

For Watery Wednesday, I took a walk in the park behind our house after a rain shower to catch some drops.

A hardy little chunk of grass growing in a crack in the cement with one drop suspended on a stalk of grass.

Rose leaves are dying now and turning a beautiful autumn red colour. Waterdrops suspended nicely around the leaf edges.
