An old abandoned church off the road leading to Etzicom in Alberta. It looks like patches of water around the church, its actually frozen patches of ice, so I did not venture around to the back to take photos from behind.
So fascinating in black and white. This photo seems particularly suited to such a choice. I love to see the architecture of ages gone by. I'll have to look up the location as I live in Alberta myself, though I'm not sure where Etzicom is.
What a cool old church, and well photographed. Hope they never tear it down!

Such a melancholy and lovely shot.
ReplyDeleteThere is something both sad and stoic about this abandoned church. A beautiful photo, well done.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful old church nicely photographed. The b & w seems like the only way to do this building justice. Good choice. My kind of stark realism!

ReplyDeleteLove your photo of the abandon church on the prairie. We also have these scattered across SD.
